OFFICE MANAGER
Language, Learning, and Speech Center is an outpatient Speech-Language-Cognitive Therapy practice that serves children, teens, and adults with Cognitive and Communication Disorders.
Position Description for OFFICE MANAGER
On a typical day, the office manager would be scheduling patients, calling for prior authorizations, completing insurance paperwork, answering phones, sending out intake paperwork, tracking down orders, scanning, printing, collating documents, and interacting with parents, children with special needs, and older adults.
Responsibilities
* Schedule patients
* Collect co-pays
* Be the "voice" of the practice when answering the phone
* Prepare billing and therapy charts
* Maintain HIPPA compliance and be professional at all times
Qualifications
Experience with clerical work, EMR, billing, and remittances
Strong communication skills
Strong ability to keep accurate notes of tasks completed
Friendly and kind to individuals of various ages and special needs. needs
Excellent position for graduate student in Communication Disorders. Hours are flexible but MUST BE RELIABLE! Pay is commensurate to experience. All work experiences will be considered. (i.e. office, childcare, working with the elderly, scheduling, data entry, etc.)
